The American Advertising Federation is “the Unifying Voice for Advertising.” It is the oldest advertising trade federation in the country and it represents 40,000 professionals in the industry. This includes college chapters. The federation is composed of different clubs located all over the country.
The most useful part of the site that I found was the Addy awards. It is so full of great examples of excellent advertising. There are dozens of different categories of advertising and the examples are really astounding. In particular, they also have awards for the various student chapters around the country. I’ve learned a lot from looking at all these examples and hope to be able to produce something as good as those examples one day.
